Manufacturing Engineer

Self-motivated, detail oriented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing methods, product testing and quality control. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience required.
Job duties include:
• Evaluate manufacturing processes to develop or enhance productivity and quality utilizing knowledge and experience in product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials and conferring with equipment vendors and operators
• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout
• Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods
• Provide manufacturing data by calculating production, labor, material costs and production schedules
• Oversee any compliance issues or government regulations
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services
• Maintain product and process data and is a team leader with the M1 Enterprise Software
• Contribute to other areas to support product design, engineering and manufacturing
Additional skills include: Bilingual Spanish-English is highly desirable but not required and mechanical ability


Product Design Engineer

Responsible for researching and developing ideas and processes for new products. Improves upon the performance and design of existing products and supervise production and packaging of final product.
Job duties include:
• Design, model, and test prototypes for products
• Conduct research and create design proposals for projects
• Establish design briefs
• Create concepts, performance, and production criteria
• Identify and select materials needed for production
• Produce final hand drawings and specifications
• Create parts lists
• List costs involved in production
• Make samples of working models for demonstration
• Plan marketing initiatives for product
• Negotiate appropriate production processes
• Travel to production facilities to evaluate processes
• Improve usability of an item
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design concepts


Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Job duties include:
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
• Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
• Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
